Three Mouth-Watering Specialities from Reims, France Everyone Will Love

France’s numerous culinary masterpieces delight foodies all around the world. The often imitated, never duplicated regional products are not only delicious, but also demonstrate France’s rich cultural and historical tradition. As Americans living in France, Jalen and I love partaking in this heritage, and we particularly enjoy the specialties from the city we currently call home – Reims, France. These three must-try items are sure to please Francophiles of all palates!

Champagne

Home to over a dozen champagne houses, Reims has no shortage of the tasty effervescent beverage. Champagne producers are held to strict manufacturing and production methods that ensure every sparkling sip is just right.

Biscuits Roses

Dating back to the 1690s, Reims’ pink biscuits are a sweet treat with an unmistakable flair. Traditionally eaten after being dunked in champagne, today they are also made into candies, powdered into a topping, and blended to make a sweet spread.

Moutarde Clovis

Clovis offers a wide variety of mustards that respect the traditional methods and ingredients of the Champagne region. From spicy jalapeño, to lemon thyme, to classic Reims mustard, Clovis will satisfy your tastebuds at an affordable price.
